Its going to be heavily converted and modded out into a pre heresy proto-type predator annihilator. Ill remove the front mounted heavy bolter and replace the sponsors with actual marine lascannons. Additional details will be added to make it look as those its a precursor to the MK1 Predator.

Tomorrow morning ill have up the first 5 man Heirs of Horus Sternguard fully completed, and based. Also, a team of amazing fluff writers have been helping greatly with the fluff for the HoH, namely a great name change as well as stuff as to how the recruit since they operate in imperial space ala the Alpha Legion by raiding and recruiting.

Unexpected LiveStrong Addition | Wolves for the Wolf God

As those of you who follow his blog (as you all should) will know that Skarvald over at held a prize giveaway recently for a Renegade Militia set from Forgeworld. And by some unfathomable fluke, the MWC team received the prize!

So, before we go any further, the entire MWC team would like to give a big, hearty thank you to Skarvald from Wolves for the Wolf God, and a pint of the best Fenrisian ale we could find!

And now of course, the question arises of what we should do with this fine set of Renegade Militia we have. We debated, and before long, we decided to do what was best, and donate it to the LiveStrong Project.

Of course, we all felt that only the best would do for this noteworthy cause. Therefore, these Renegade Militia will be based on Secret Weapon Miniature bases, provided by Mr Justin, from Secret Weapon Miniatures. Lantz will supply any Cadian parts needed for the Militia, and finally our very own Matt will convert like he's never converted before to make these guys as AWESOME as they can be!

Then these marvelous little models will be put up for sale to raise what money we can for the Livestrong Wargaming Project using the eBay Giving Works Project, donating all the proceeds to LiveStrong!

We are VERY much open to color scheme and even how converted they should be, so let those comments roll!

Red's Corps - Red Scorpions LiveStrong Contribution Shoutout

Jack, over at Red's Corps (who has some wickedly sweet Red Scorpion Marines) has decided to be one of the first members of the LiveStrong Wargaming Project group to start on his first auction, with the proceeds going to charity, via eBay's Giving Works program.

LiveStrong Wargaming Project and what it means for the MWC Hub

     Welcome to Miniature Wargame Conversions, better known simply as MWC, the blog hub that has brought the very popular Pay It Forward Free Give Away each month. Pay It Forward has now had spin offs such as the very awesome Gifts of Mork group, run by a great guy, Jason/Arch, hosted on the 40kforums and several others on local levels.

     We are all very proud to announce that we are now opening our doors to offer a place to announce your event, gig, activity or benefit. We will also a proud member in a number of top secret things going on right now including taking part in helping with the Heroes of Armageddon Charity Project. As well as leading the charge in the LiveStrong Wargaming Project.

     LiveStrong Wargaming Project? I'm sure you already asking yourself what could that possibly be. Well, LiveStrong, for those not familiar, is a US based Cancer support organization. Last year, when my wife Sarah and I lost our son, Erin due to a premature birth, Sarah was diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer and only given 2 months. With help from LiveStrong, she was able to make it just over 10 months. The people there are very kind and always willing to help in any possible way. Since Pay It Forward was a tribute to her and our son which is now taking its own path, my thoughts have moved over to helping donate in anyway I can to LiveStrong. Thus the LiveStrong Wargaming Project was born.

      It will consist of me and a select few others that will be building, converting and painting various things to sell on eBay . What’s neat is eBay has a feature to take all sales and donate them directly to a Charity of your choice. All proceeds for the various auctions will be going directly to LiveStrong via the Ebay Giving Works. Yes, that’s right, we will be donating all 100% of each sale. That said, anyone can help by simply listing stuff they don't need on eBay , and donating the money to LiveStrong or any other Charity organization using the eBay Giving Works program and their own eBay account..
