Final Raffle Price for this month, and its a BIGGIE!

Ok Folks, as some of you have noticed there have been alot of people offering items they own for the raffle as a way for they themselves to give back. Well,After debating it heavily, ive decided to allow one more person. Its actually a member here who wants to remain annonmosly.
Hes offering something thats very one of a kind in this situation. He wants to offer a Malachor Tank from FW. The model itself has been opened and cleaned but nothing has been pinned, glued or anyother form of construction. He simply made sure the parts were all there. After switching to Eldar, he offered it to me for the raffle since in his own words "work mhas been beyond well and its a unit I no longer need and would love to give it to a proper home. He does ask it goes to a Guard player but other then that, things are set.

What do you guys think? its hard to turn down people offering to do good deeds but how many prizes are to many? Im very much looking for opinions on this topic.

  1. Spread out the prizes over a few months. That will be awesome for your follower count, and the community you are trying to build.

Oh, and I play Orks, but I can sure put that Malc to a good use :)

  2. That's truely an amwesome contribution! I think it maybe a little OTT to add too many items. I'd probably cap it here! Good luck to everyone!

  4. Yeah, I agree, spreading these out as a prize a month thing would be awesome. And since he wants to give it to a guard player, I would try to come up with some cool contest for IG players to give it away.

  10. That's one big prize. I think you should spread the prizes, or, as been said before, do a "special contest" for these. Maybe a painting or conversion one.

  11. Yeah, for the FW piece you could do some artistic contest, like "Make a piece of art(conversion, drawing, diarama, etc) that incorporates IG and supports/advertises my blog in some way". By not limiting it to just a model contest, it lets alot more of your readers in, and it would be cool to see some of the submissions that you can always put on your blog anyways to make it look cooler. Free advertising in return for a chance to win an awesome FW piece seems fair and fun to me.

  12. I meant that you should have people enter to win the tank by sending in some photos of their IG army. Helps ensure an IG player gets the tank, and the community gets bunch of cool photos to look at.

    Mace's idea is good too.
