Welcome back to my little shindig. This week I've got a product review on a webstore that, surely by now, everyone has at least heard of. Hitech Miniatures hasn't been around long, but if you take a look around their website you'll see they have it very much together for a newer webstore. To add to their interesting webspace, their models are some pretty inspiring work and anyone who's a fan of the Adeptus Mechanicus has probably drooled over a model or seven. To further my unit completion for my fandex, I ended up ordering the Megatherion model to fill the role of the Textura unit. So let's find out how everything went down in this week's review. More after the jump.

[Lantz's Corner] CorSec Engineering Omni-Ruler Review
Welcome back ladies and gents. Lantz here with another product review from a store I doubt too many of you have heard of. CorSec Engineering is an up-and-comer website started in early 2010 with bases for Aerodrome type of games.Currently they've expanded into gaming mats, measuring tools, terrain, templates and an expanded product line of bases all with more focus on the same game types. Today I'm going to be reviewing an item that can be used in all manner of tabletop gaming; their genius Omni-Ruler. Join me after the jump to see what this store and product are all about.

[Lantz's Corner] Litko's Power Field Markers Review
Lantz here. It's been a while since I've done a product review, and honestly been a while since I've purchased a product out of the ordinary lately. With the AdMech fandex coming to a close for 5th Edition (don't worry, it'll be updated for 6th once that is officially out,) and awaiting certain models for the Necrons I've been at a slow point for hobby. It also might have to do with a certain game that came out recently, as well... In any case, I'm back with some product reviews, the first of which will be Litko's Power Field Markers. I've never purchased anything from Litko before, though I had seen their store previously. So let's get reviewin'! More after the jump.

[Lantz's Corner] Necron Codex Review:
Part VIII - Final Thoughts
So after everything we've covered I'd like to go over my final thoughts on the new Necron codex. First, let's get a list of what we've gone over so far:
5) Elites
6) Fast Attack
For my final thoughts I want to go over some things that need to be FAQed, the great/good/bad units in this dex, playstyle and tactics and finally the new fluff. We're going in-depth into the mind of Lantz, so strap yourselves in. It's going to be a bumpy ride full of an abundance of commas.

[Lantz's Corner] Necron Codex Review:
Part VII - Heavy Support
Here we are, the heavy hitters. Last time we looked at the Fast Attack choices available, and while you may think that the Heavy Support is full of slow-crawling powerhouses, the Necrons are significantly faster than they once were. The options available in the Heavy Support FOC slots are extremely diverse so you can create a list to your playstyle with the big shooters, which is something this codex does well. So let's move into it.

[Lantz's Corner] Necron Codex Review:
Part VI - Fast Attack
Welcome back for Part VI where we'll be looking at the Fast Attack choices available to the Tomb Kings in Spaaaaace! Out of all of the FOC slots, Fast Attack is the smallest aside from Troops, but carries with it what I consider to be one of the most important units in the Necron arsenal. While the Fast Attack choices aren't as powerful as some of the Elite choices, they still fill a pivotal role for the army. Without further rambling; Fast Attack:

[Lantz's Corner] Necron Codex Review:
Part V - Elites
Keeping pace with the Necron's FOC section, we'll be going through the Elites next. Last time we took a look at all of the Troops and Transports available to the robot zombies, and this time we'll look at some fairly more powerful selections to protect those Troops and Transports. Of the Elites we have a wide range of unit types from Monstrous Creatures to Walkers. This is one of the larger sections of the Necron FOC, so let's break it down.

[Lantz's Corner] Necron Codex Review:
Part IV - Troops and Transports
The posts just keep on comin'. Last time we looked at all those spiffy special characters the Necrons have access to. In Part IV we'll be taking a peek at the two Troop options and the three transportation options for the Necron army. While the Troops section is pretty underwhelming, the transports the Necrons have access to are very interesting. More after the jump.

[Lantz's Corner] Necron Codex Review:
Part III - Named Characters
Welcome back. In Part II we took a look at the generic options for HQs and Retinues which will help segue into Part III; special characters. The previous faceless Necrons didn't have any options for an inexpensive special character, but not anymore! The Necrons, along with their new fluff, now have a personality all their own. Like it or not, with the new personality comes numerous named characters to select from. All of the following characters have the EL, RP and Independent Character rules, so keep that in mind as I won't be mentioning it 7 times. We have a lot to cover in Part III, so let's get to it!

[Lantz's Corner] Necron Codex Review:
Part II - Generic HQs and Retinue
Hopefully by now you all have your own codex and can follow along. If not, no worries! We're going to keep trucking along. In Part I we covered Army-wide Rules and Wargear that will help dissect the rest of this codex. With Part II, we'll go over the unnamed ICs and the Retinue options they have. There's some key changes from the previous generic HQ options as far as wargear and rules go, but the Retinue options are what will really get you 'cron players drooling. So let's dig in!

[Lantz's Corner] Necron Codex Review:
Part I - Army Rules and Wargear
Welcome to Part 1 of an undetermined amount of parts reviewing the Necron Codex and the units within. First what you need to know; My name is Lantz and I'm a 'cron-o-holic. I've been playing Necrons for almost three years and I know the Necron 3rd Edition codex in and out. Consequently I also cut myself from depression...but no more! The Necron's 5th Edition codex is out and I'll be your guide through its entirety. Throughout this codex review I will go over the important pieces of each unit, what has changed from the last dex, how it will affect game play and in green, my personal opinion on well, everything. Fear not; I haven't been wrong about anything since 1992. So let's begin with the information we'll need to know for the rest of this series: Army Rules and Wargear.

[Lantz's Corner] MaxMini Review
Lantz here to welcome back to my little reviewer-neck-of-the-woods. This week I'm bringing back a webstore I reviewed earlier on this year, this time with some of their newer products. In my previous review I was quite pleased with the entire experience I had with MaxMini. Is their service still spot on? Is their product still up to par? Since the beginning of this year I have upgraded my camera and review format so we'll give MaxMini a much more defined review this time around and answer those questions. Find out all of the sexy details after the break.

[Lantz's Corner] Armorcast's Cinematic Effects Review
Well it sure has been a while since I've done a review on here. With all of this contest madness and life staring me down lately, it's been hard to find time for my own conversion work. Luckily last week I managed to sit down and get some AdMech modeling done and ran across a package I was saving for a future project. What was in the package, you ask? Well, the title should kind of give it away, but it was a couple of items from Armorcast's semi-new line of cinematic pieces. I think some of these things can really put the finishing touches on some of our more detailed models, so I took a chance on them. You may remember my last review of Armorcast didn't go so smoothly, so what happened this time? Any more horror stories from this webstore? Find out after the break.

[Lantz's Corner] Chapterhouse Studios Review
Guess who's back with another product review? No, not Hank, whoever that is. It's me! And this go-around we've got Chapterhouse Studios in the mix. I've known about this site for quite a while and have purchased from them a very long while ago. Recently, however, they've had a slew of new products joining their line up which had me enticed to open my wallet. So what is Chapterhouse all about? Will they survive my slew of witty commentary or are they incapable of bearing such a horrible onslaught of horrible puns and comma abuse? Find out after the break.

[Lantz's Corner] Antenociti's Workshop's Werewolf Grav Bike and Coilgun Sniper Review
Is it just me or are these titles getting longer? Anywho, I'm back after quite the hiatus of family reunions, getting incredibly ill (not related) and getting distracted by shiny things to bring you another slew of product reviews from all of those indie shops you love so much yet also haven't heard of. I'm not sure how that's possible, but just roll with me on this one. This week we have a webstore that, well, I'm not even sure how I found it. In fact, I'm not entirely sure anyone else in the 40k community has heard of them as I haven't seen anyone post about them in my two or so years of blogging. The webstore's name is Antenociti's Workshop and it thoroughly stumps me how this company is such a no name. Why? Let's discover the answers to these questions and more!

[Lantz's Corner] Black Cat Studios' Scientist Self-Experiment and Tracked Robots Review
Whew, that's quite the title. Welcome back to my corner of review bonanzas. This time around I have Black Cat Bases on my plate. I found this webstore from TableTop Fix, a blog I suggest all who are reading this right now follow. Black Cat Bases offers a pretty extreme range of miniatures for Fantasy, Sci-Fi and modern-day, most of which aren't offered anywhere else. You'll literally spend hours rummaging through their product line. After doing this myself, I made my selections, purchased them and went through the motions of getting my little pewter dudes to my home. Let's see how it all went down.

[Lantz's Corner] Blight Wheel Miniatures' Blight Wheel Brotherhood Review
After a short break I'm back on the reviewing circuit. This time around I've got the little-known Blight Wheel Miniatures. I stumbled upon this site from a link Matt had sent me last month and was immediately slapped in the face with several well-sculpted miniatures. While their product line is quite small, each model looked to be unique to a lot of models out there and well produced to boot. For my purchase I ended up going with the interesting looking Blight Wheel Brotherhood. So what came of this purchase? Let's find out.

[Lantz's Corner] Armorcast Review
So far I've had little to complain about with the indie miniatures webstores out there. Overall I've had a pretty pleasant experience with each and every webstore I've made a transaction with. This review is going to be a bit different, however. I would like to start out by saying I know of more people that have had a good experience shopping from Armorcast than I can count on my hands and toes, which is a reason I wanted to shop there in the first place. However, walking into this review you're going to understand pretty early on I did not enjoy my purchasing experience and why. More after the break.

[Lantz's Corner] Ramshackle Games Boring Machine and Iron Grumbler Review
I'd like to go ahead and get my normal nonsense out of the way before I start this review, so I'll just spew my witty quips out now so we can be all review-y for the rest of this post. Ahem... Is that a Boring Machine or are you just happy to see me? The last time I saw an Iron Grumbler it was in my girlfriend's sock drawer. And last, but not least; I'm no stranger to having to pay for a ramshackling. Okay, I feel a lot better now, we can move on. For this review I'll be running over Ramshackle Games' Boring Machine and Iron Grumbler models. This clearly isn't your Nanna's product review, though that's partially due to the fact that she won't play against fan-made codices. Stupid Nanna...

[Lantz's Corner] Paulson Games Bio-Terror Review
Hello, again! Reviews have slowed down a tad on my end as I've been working on conversions for all of the goodies I've ordered. Fortunately, I work fast...when it comes to conversions. So *ahem* I ordered a few more goodies from indie companies to further grow the AdMech army I have going. This time around, I needed something to fill the role of a certain MC in the fandex and I found something that would suit my needs, though I plan for it to look quite different once conversions are done. But enough about all that, let's talk about the product itself; Paulson Games' Bio-Terror. More after the break.
