Did a bit more work on him. Im still up in the air if he should have some chaos writing on his back banner parchment but im not sure if I want to risk ruining its paint job. Other then that, its hes finished. needs a modified Dragon Forge base but yea, hes done.
Did some work on a standard marine as well. More pics of him later. But he isnt that much to look at.
I took a close up look at the banner and yeah, due to the different washes,etc I don't see how you can really add on anything to it unless at least slightly botched the paint on it necessitating a banner-wide redo.
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand, it does look strangely empty. Maybe is you could carefully do a small chaos icon of some sort there and layer it in very slowly you can blend it in.
Otherwise, I suppose you'd had to experiment on another test piece made to be a facsimile or ask someone else who has successfully pulled it off.
