Old Stuff Day! MWC Style - Nurgle Demon Prince

Hey Folks,

As most of you know, today is Old Stuff Day, started by Warhammer 39,999. I have only had this blog since the start of the year but I figured id dig up an old goody from my forum days and post this :)

The Nurgle Demon Prince I made a awhile back had alot of WIP pics showing him as he proressed. I also found some pics of my tools that I use. So watch the beast grow!

The tools I use are 2 sided. They include scrapers, pokers and scoops. I mainly do all my work with the tool on the right in both picture.

And him finished:

  2. I actually have to give credit to the client for picking the bitz used. I simply cut them, pinned them and then GSed it.

Im hoping the client will get it painted up and a pic sent in. Im actually pretty sure he will. Hes a great guy.

  4. Absolutely amazing work. I'm in pretty much consistent awe of your ability to work with texture in green stuff!

  5. I love looking at conversions. My one issue is when the model looks really kewl but I cant identify all the bits. Maybe in the future a list of bits (or maybe just the major bits) used would a nice feature.

  6. I completely agree with Tordeck! What wings are those from?!?! I have been looking for them for a while and the think they may be the Carion wings (http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1430/1148414319_757cf69ef7.jpg) Right? I just cant ever find where to get the bits! I thought I once found the original kit they came with but I just looked again on GW site and cant find them!! Let me know!!

  8. Tordeck, I think those wings are from a tomb kings miniature, a kind of mummy bird.

  10. I recently just got into green stuff. Been converting regular space marines from the black reach set into Plague marines.

This model is just pure awesomeness! Keep up the good work and thanks again for the ideas and inspiration.
